escalators take us to the upper level.
some stand still as they are not in a hurry
many walk up and others even run up the stairs!
faster or slower, all will reach up there eventually.

an entrance to the upper level does not guarantee anything
as nothing is permanent and everything is transient in nature,
we have the choice of moving further up or down from there;
by walking slower or faster, or even by standing still...
